PREPARE FOR CLASS

  • Please ensure you arrive for class ahead of time. Late arrivals will not be admitted. The studio opens 20 minutes before class begins and closes 20 minutes after class finishes.

  • Our classes are practised barefoot in very light sports clothing. It’s best to avoid baggy clothing.

  • Bring a yoga mat and large towel to cover your mat (we have some available to rent for €2 each).

  • Drink enough water throughout the day before class.

  • Bring a water bottle (not glass) – there is a water station to refill your bottle.

  • Avoid eating two hours before class.

  • Before the class begins, advise your teacher of any health issues.

  • For the first class, position yourself at the back of the room so that you can orient yourself to other students.

  • Keep the yoga studio quiet and peaceful.

  • Don’t be too ambitious or expect too much of yourself for your first classes. It is okay to take a break at any time and just sit on your mat.

  • Expect to sweat! Bring a change of clothes for after class.

  • We do have changing rooms with shower facilities available.

  • No phones are allowed in the studios.

    Facilities

  • There are separate changing rooms for men and women equipped with showers and offering all the necessary comforts. For valuables, we have lockers in the reception areas and the changing rooms. Please bring your own lock.

    Parking

  • There is normal parking in the area. Please be respectful of neighbours’ access to their driveways.

  • There is a bicycle rack for up to 10 bicycles at Yoga Yard’s entrance.

  • Please note we operate on a cash-free basis.
